I am so excited to announce that the Dots on a Map YouTube channel on food and travel is FINALLY up and running 🎉 🎉 🎉
It would be suuuper appreciated if you could subscribe to our channel and check out our first video, a food tour of Tlacolula Market in Oaxaca — one of the best culinary cities in Mexico. If you enjoy the video, don’t be shy and hit that like button and leave a comment 😉
This project has been a long time in the making. A huge shoutout to Lenza, amor da minha vida, who spent so much time this year learning about filming and editing from scratch, and who has no shame about sticking a camera pretty much anywhere 😂. This project wouldn’t be possible without your hard work and support. Now I just gotta convince you to be on camera more with me!

We are still learning a lot, and honestly, it kind of feels like we have no idea what we’re doing. There’s been a lot of trial and error. The good news is that the vlogging process is finally starting to make a little more sense. More importantly, it’s becoming less of a scramble and a lot more fun to go out into the world with a camera.
We are going live with just one video to start, but we will be releasing a new video every week featuring food from all different locations. There are a lot more videos coming from Mexico as well as Turkey, Egypt, Brazil, and all over the USA — for now. We’re definitely not stopping there. We plan to travel a lot in the coming years and show you how beautiful and diverse food cultures around the world can be.
We really hope you follow along!
